At the heart of the Hira Cultural District, two signature experiences invite visitors to explore the story of revelation and the message of the Qur’an. Through immersive exhibitions, historical artifacts, and modern technology, these museum spaces offer an engaging introduction to the early days of Islam and the context in which the Qur’an was first revealed.

The Path to the Cave of Hira begins inside the Hira Cultural District and leads up Mount Hira to the site where the first revelation was received. The climb offers sweeping views of Makkah and a chance to reflect near one of Islam’s most significant places.

Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to sit, a cup of Saudi coffee, or a meaningful gift to take home, these spaces are designed to complement your visit and offer moments of rest and reflection throughout the day.

The Special Exhibitions Hall hosts rotating exhibitions and cultural showcases throughout the year. This flexible space allows the district to welcome guest experiences, seasonal displays, and collaborative programs that highlight Islamic heritage.

Hira Park will offer visitors a calm and welcoming space to relax, unwind, and enjoy their time in the district. Designed with comfort and nature in mind, the park will add a peaceful outdoor experience to complement the exhibitions, museums, and other offerings in the District.

The Cultural Library will be a quiet space for reading, study, and reflection. As part of the Hira Cultural District, it will house a growing collection of works on the history of the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, the sacred sites and the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him).
